What's your desktop background?

Post by mimmyjambo on Thu Dec 29, 2011 9:47 am

As long as it's something that won't make stuff of any kind come out, what's your desktop background?

Mine has been this for a while:

Yes, surprisingly, neither are anything to do with Captain Picard!

Currently, that screenshot of Solitude I posted on another thread, as its such a great view with the Texture packs and shaders installed.
Previously, it was a screenshot of a Sins of a Solar Empire battle that took me an age to get all the damn UI out of the way for.
Before that it was... a dynamic desktop that showed the Earth from space in its current state, and automatically updated the 'Daylight lines' based off the time. Sadly, my trial for that program ran out and I CBF buying it.
Before that it was some screenshot of Rapture
Before that it was... Dear god this is a while back.... IDK. I think just the default Aero one.
And you ninja'd me in the OP about Jean-Luc Picard not being on it anywhere. You should Photoshop him in somewhere.

A photography I took during the night inside a car while the vehicle was moving and I made it so that everything got blurred out in lines so that it looks very pretty then I changed the whitebalance in the photo so that it became grey and blue instead of brown and yellow now I need to breathe merry new year.

I used to have a cool background, but then i had to get windows 7 (no really, my windows xp derped so hard...) and i haven't been bothered to set one. I was trying to find some gamey ones but they all have the logo's on them and it just... Doesn't seem right for a background.

A gorgeous river surrounded by a peaceful forest. To me, my private laptop is like my sacred domain of solitude- the peacefulness of my desktop background sure helps with that.

Yeah..... THIS is my current one.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Don't know how to make it an enabled link.....but yeah....

OH! For those of you that don't know, I am an avid fan of Masks. And insane people, and insane people that like masks.... I have also become predictable. Damn. Well don't worry, I'll work on that, you know try to be more spontaneous.

Edit: OH! So when I post it, it becomes an enabled link! Okay, never mind I see.
