Back from the dead. Literally

Post by mimmyjambo on Fri Oct 28, 2011 2:50 am

Today I received one of the biggest shocks of my life. No, I didn't have a defibrillator used on me.

A few of you may remember the day I found out that two of my great friends had died, a while ago this year. Well today, there was what I will only describe as a miracle.

I saw a forum thread today on a forum one of these friends was a very active member on that sounded very interesting, from its title. So, I clicked on it, wondering who it was that came up with the project in the title name. And there, clear as day, the user that posted the thread was "jpo2709" - Jason Talbott Potts. The man I thought was dead, as did so many others. The man whose death, or so we thought, had been announced in the local paper and on the said paper's website. In the thread he included WIP screenshots of the work for the project. It was typed just like him. The posts he made in response to others' comments on the thread were just like him.

As far as we know, Jason Talbott Potts, jpo2709, is alive and well. He's been in hospital for several months due to severely bad health. But he's out - even if he is on a ton of medication. And he's alive.

HE'S ALIVE!

Wow... That is something that doesn't happen every day. Good to hear your friend isn't dead, hopefully it truly is him. It's quite an amazing second chance, one that I doubt many would get. This is incredible, I really don't know what to say...

Have fun with your friends, hopefully he won't die again

I'm happy for you!

Which reminds me, that means his respective tombstone in hollowvale should go. It doesn't make sense since, luckily, he's alive.

Also, regarding the title "Back from the dead. Literally", it is totally wrong. He obviously never died. I think. >.<

I'll contemplate that, but that would also require reaver's permission.
