Sorry everyone i think this is my fault. After i died all my exp fell and now every time the server is up and i log in, i just fall forever through the void.

When i exit and try to join, it says 'Can't connect to server'. This has happened 4 times today. Im sorry if anyone else hasn't been able to join server because of me.

I sense that the solution is that we wait until the experience orbs despawn completely before you log in.

Yes, dropped items don't disappear on SMP servers, or at least they don't for a long time.
And seeing as large amounts of xp orbs cause the server to crash, which "freezes" the MineCraft time, the map is pretty much screwed.

Damn... do we want another temp map town? I'm thinking it shouldn't be too much longer before Bukkit is updated, though we won't have much to do in the meantime.

Me and Pork, Neo and Neowolfie have been building an under ground city nere the spawn on the new temp so do feel free to add to add to the city and build in it for the time being if you have nothing to do.

The City is in a Ravine and i gess same server and standard city rules apply, follow cobble path from around the spawn town, people do live in the city just saying, have fun!

I have learned from a very reliable source that you can cause a nightwalker/enderman/farlander to aggro from a gaze in multiplayer.

The location to do so is actually about an inch above the creatures head. It will not spasm or extend its jaws like a snake- it'll just come at you, bro.

Hey raptor, do you still crash every time you log in to the server? You should try logging in sometime. We're on a temp map for now. Co-ords are x 550 z 320. You're welcome to join too kairus. Basic rules apply. If andy7320 is in the town you have the right to kill him. No explosions/TNT within the town or within 50 blocks of town walls (which are made of cactus). There's a wheat, melon, and shroom farm for your convenience. Unfortunately you have to build your own house and expand the wall if you want to join. Hey kairus, your server doesn't work. wtf?

Well, considering 1.8's prerelease was out for roughly a week before the actual version was released, it likely means we have a decent sliver of time before we're forced to switch to 1.9. Hopefully, we can cram in the events we want in that time.
