Horses

Post by Elite_dragon on Sat Apr 20, 2013 9:32 pm

So, the new snapshot has released horses into the game, and they will probably make it into the next update. Obviously, this will be a very game changing mechanic. My question to you, dawnlanders, is how will this affect the dawn of time server? Will any new rules be implemented related to these new, mystical creatures? And finally, how will the new horses, zombie and skeleton, affect the storyline?

Thank you in advance for the answers to these questions.

I've got that covered. Horses have always been around, just impossible to see or portray because Minecraft did not have them. Now, they are actually going to physically be around once implemented, and they can be treated as if they were always there.

As for new rules...hmm. Truth be told, I really would not mind if people used their horses in events that take place outdoors/in towns. I always thought that Dawnlander cavalry units would be badass.

Gotta say I've been waiting a long time for this..

My thoughts exactly, Fae. Now that horses are coming along for reals, it'll just make things quite interesting.

I've already modified my stable, and I'll probably sell horses as soon as I get a few. Hundred.

Wind is scared of horses.

I'm going to have to see about purchasing more land for a horse breeding area. Maybe get an exclusive deal with the City of Hearthfire to supply its guards...
