World Generation Issues

Post by superscope1 on Tue Jul 31, 2012 1:55 am

So, a few people have been a little iffy about the world generation that we currently have on the map. It's basically all sheer cliffs, and you can tell when the world generation stops/starts. It doesn't look very nice, or very natural.

So what people are thinking about is basically getting a brand new map (after 1.3 of course, so we don't have to do it twice.), and just go on about our business like nothing happened.

Vote, post your opinion why, and have some reasoning in your post about the vote.

Short thread is short.

Sure, what the hell.

I can come up with an alternate plan for the portal pieces anyway.

The map looks very odd as it stands right now, and would make for very odd discontinuities in intercity infrastructure. I'd rather have a new map.

Note: There has been RP on this current map.

I would assume this RP would be when the people of the Dawnlands are coming back to the land and civilization is being rebuilt(Again).

Anyway, for it.

Just as Blaze said, the map looks incredibly odd right now.

I don't really have any issues with the map as is, but I could see why other people would have issues with it, so I'm going to go with a new map.

I voted yes, since there are a lot of problems, Horizon is even built on top of one of them. So may as well get this problem fixed and out of the way.

For reasons such as waiting two days isn't much time to wait....

For it.

I vote yes, and my reason is...exactly why other people have voted. The world looks weird.

I'm not clearing any more mountains though XD
